Hey, i bet a lot of people are wondering where Extreme Emulation has gone, well, maybe not a lot, but some anyway :p. For the last year the site has struggled both from me not having the time to work on the site and from financial difficulties. I started university last year and i just can't commit the time anymore, i was quite happy to leave the site up for people to enjoy the content that was there, but the server bill was $100/month which was easily affordable when the site had as many visitors as it used to, but it doesn't these days and that's probably largely due to the fact that it wasn't getting updated very often which is out of my control. Also, the advertising scheme that the site was part of recently put the account on stop due to copyrighted content being present which seems odd as it was never a problem in the past. Anyway, in conclusion the site was costing too much, i have paid the server bill myself for the last few months but with student debts piling up this site is an extra bill that i can do without. I have really enjoyed working on the site and i still do so i would like to pick it up again at some point down the line, but until then, take care everyone :).

Update (30th January 2008): Well hello there! So it's been 4 months since I last posted to inform you that nothing was happening, and guess what, it's a new year and still nothing's happening :p. I think I may have tempted fate saying that things were in motion again with the site as the following month my university placement got very hectic, just before Christmas I was working around 60 hours a week. Anyway, it seems to be calming down now and I am now armed with a shiny, new PC and a pretty fast internet connection. That said it's still going to be a while before any sort of a site emerges, but good things come to those who wait. I'll try my best to keep you informed on the goings on. Stay tuned.
Update (18th August 2007): Hey, well things haven't really been moving since the last post. I am still without the internet which, to be honest, kind of puts a huge barrier in the way of any progress. Hopefully I should have it within the next 2 weeks so development can really begin then. On a plus note, my e-mail is working again if anyone wants to contact me. Also, I am thinking about putting up a temporary forum until the site begins to reappear, let me know what you think.
Update (27th July 2007): Hello there, long time no see :p. Just thought i'd let everyone know that i've begun working on the site again. I've got some big plans, but everything is still in the very early stages at the moment, and seeing as i've just moved house and am without the internet at the moment it may be some time before the site surfaces again. I'll keep you updated over the coming weeeks on how things are progressing. Oh, and my hosting provider is having some technical difficulties so i can't receive any e-mails at the moment.
